This gorgeous minimalist idea comes from to us from Germany. Use Google translate to read it all, but the photos are pretty self-explanatory. Attach paper stars and wooden numbers to each paper sack. The good thing about this idea is that the supplies can be reused year after year.
Numbered boxes are kind of an Advent Calendar tradition, and this version is great! Buy already patterned boxes at the craft store, or make your own, then add numbered tags. You can make the tags from scratch too.
Here’s another idea from Germany. Stitch the toys or treats into these red and craft patterned sacks, and stack them in a wooden tray. You could even make the sacks yourself with wrapping paper.
