3 Ways to Make DIY Stamps from Wine Corks

October 14, 2016 by Francine Clouden

If you’ve got a stash of wine corks, and you’re looking for a way to out them to good use instead of tossing them out, here are three ways you can make DIY stamps for your scrapbooking projects.

The most classic, but labor intensive way is cut your designs from the corks themselves.

You’ll need a sharp craft knife and a permanent marker like a Sharpie as well as your corks. Get the details here at Instructables.

Next up: using small embellishments as the motif on your stamp. There are two ways to do this:

or with wood veneer shapes

For both these options make sure you have a strong liquid glue to secure the shapes to the corks.

FREE Beauty and the Beast Book Nook Cut Files

Beauty and the Beast is my all time favorite Disney movie and that’s saying a lot since I’m a huge Disney fan! Miss Mandee is also a big fan since she designs so many wonderful Disney inspired paper crafting projects including this stunning Book Nook. This layered die cut design features Belle and the Beast silhouettes dancing on the iconic staircase in Beasts castle with candelabras on the sides (a nod to Lumiere) and a big chandelier hanging above. She’s also used rose pattern paper for the backdrop and rolled paper roses on the front to represent the Beasts magic rose. She’s sharing these cut files for FREE that you can use with your electronic die cutting machine to make your own Beauty and the Beasts Book Nook to place between your Disney scrapbooks on a shelf.
