A few years ago a new trend in scrapbooking started called Traveler’s Notebooks, they are a smaller style of album perfect for simple scrapbooking, journaling, planners and even note taking. Think of them like any other mini album but in a tall, slim size and shape. Many can be purchased or are made with the spines sewn or stapled together but some can be held together with discs or spirals, so depending on your preference you can work directly in the booklet or you can create your pages and adhere them in. I really like using Traveler’s Notebooks, also called TN’s, for a single occasion, if you don’t have too many photos it’s nice to have a more compact smaller size to work with. The smaller size also makes them convenient to take with you to easily share your scrapbooking with family and friends or to create in while on the go. I’ve gathered together some fanatic Traveler’s Notebook albums and page ideas to help you get started if you’re new to TN’s or inspire you if you’re already a pro at creating them.

I love the mix of plastic pocket page with a traditional paper page on this Gardening spread.
