Plaids and florals in pinks and yellows pair perfectly on this lovely layout. Notice how the corner of one of the papers is folded over to show the backside, it’s a great way to get more from your papers. Visit the Hey, Little Magpie blog for more.
It’s getting warmer, the sun is shining, the birds are singing and the flowers are blooming and it’s the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the Springtime and take some fabulous photos. I’ve gathered up a group of wonderful scrapbook layout ideas featuring Spring outdoor pictures to help inspire you to start on your Spring scrapbooking.
Below each photo you’ll find a link, most will contain products used, tips, tutorial and more details.
I know most folks think of dandelions as ugly weeds but I personally love the pop of yellow in my lawn and the fun of blowing the seeds and making a wish. This double page layout captures that sentiment beautifully! Visit the Citrus Twist Kits blog for all the details.
This design has beautiful soft colors with a striped background and large die flower, backed with pattern papers with clusters of smaller flowers all around. It’s the perfect setting for a sweet outdoor photo. Visit the Cut To You blog for more info.
Bright color and lots of layers of pattern papers cut into squares and stripes create a bold design on this Bloom layout. I spotted this page on Shannon Allor’s Instagram.
With the weather getting nicer Spring is nice time to get great outdoor photos with our pets too! This beautiful layout has lots of florals from the background pattern paper and die cut Tulips colored with watercolors. Notice the touch of how the sentiment curves around the circular picture. Visit the Spellbinders blog for all the details plus some bonus cards.
If you’ve taken lots and lots of outdoor Spring photos then why not create a mini album (or two) to hold all those memories. With clear acrylic covers these beautiful minis albums are decorated with pretty pages covered in flowers with some some fun add-ons like pockets and flaps. Learn all about these projects over on the Artsy Albums blog.
One way to easily pull a design together is with color. This stunning layout has lots of reds and pinks with pops of green that pull the colors straight from the sweet photo. Take a closer look on the 49th and Market blog.
This pretty page focuses on gardening with cute garden designs like seed packets, wheel barrows, boots and gnomes. I have a few little gnome statues scattered around my garden, do you? You can watch a process video for creating this page on the Creative Scrapbooker blog.
This pretty page has a watering can for a large accent as well as a fun place for journaling. The layered lacey punched border across the bottom helps pull in some of the dark pinks from the flowers in the photos. Visit the Creative Memories blog for instructions.
I love the juxtaposition of the rectangular photos over top all the layers of circles cut from pattern papers on this cheerful layout! Lots of flowers and pretty accents like butterflies and a bike add lots of movement to the design too. Visit the Pinkfresh Studio blog for all the details.
Recently I’ve heard the terms plant lady and plant mom for women who are really into plants, it makes for a whimsical title for a layout. I love the wide lace border down the center of this design! I spotted this layout on Liz Longest’s Instagram.
Check out all the movement and details this layout has with a great mixed media feel but it actually doesn’t have any sewing or paint because it’s digital! Check it out over on Sylvia’s Scrapbook.com Gallery.
This page was inspired by a sketch using a grid style design with room for several photos and embellishments for a clean and modern look. Learn more as well as find the FREE sketch over on the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog.
Here’s another adorable pet page this time using mostly greens and yellows over a white background, I think that helps highlight the white dog in the photo. The flowers and title are die cut from pattern papers and cardstock with some paint splatter on the background and a bit of hand written journaling for a nice mixed media design.
I hope these layouts have gotten you excited to head outside on a warm Spring day, take some photos and then head back inside for some scrapping!
