12 Winter Pet Scrapbook Layout Ideas

January 21, 2026 by Heather Holbrook

Winter brings out some of the most charming moments in our pets — cosy naps, playful bursts of energy, extra cuddles, and those irresistible cold-weather antics that make us smile. These seasonal memories are perfect for scrapbooking, especially when you want pages that feel warm, personal, and full of character.

These winter pet scrapbook layout ideas are designed to help you capture those cold-season moments with style, whether you’re documenting dogs, cats, or other furry family members. From soft winter colour palettes to playful details and journaling prompts, these layouts offer inspiration you can easily adapt to suit your pet’s personality while preserving memories you’ll love looking back on year after year.

Nathalie designed a beautiful Winter layout with a trio of frames above a border of woodgrain paper with pine cones and birds. The large center frame has the photo with the other two holding sentiments. Each frame has small clusters of accents and there’s a large title made from different stickers and embellishments. Even on the snowiest of days we still have to walk the dog. But honestly, I think most dogs don’t mind, many of them really love playing in the snow and it’s the perfect time to snap some adorable outdoor photos of them. Even some cats like to step out into the snow, even for just a minute to check it out, before running back into the warm house. So let’s take a look at some fun and frosty Winter Pet scrapbook layouts to capture all those cute snowy memories with our pets.

Beneath each photo will be a link, click them for more details like tips, tutorials and products used.

Jil’s wonderful Traveler’s Notebook pages have lots of cool mixed media elements like stamping, stenciling, torn pattern papers, rub-ons, washi tape and more. She’s even added some hidden journaling behind one of the photos! She breaks it all down at The Cherry on Top blog.

A kitty braves the snow on this digital Wintery layout that uses soft colors for a crisp neutral pallet. There’s lots of natural elements of dried flowers and sprigs, ribbon, faux stenciling, buttons, twine and wooden elements. But of course since it’s digital so there’s no bulk! I spotted this idea by Weaselwatchr on the Scrapbook.com gallery.

This sweet layout from Sophie has a repeated die cut of the word SNOW down the page using the “O” for her round photos. She added stitching around each letter and included some clusters of cute embellishments and sentiments too. I spotted this idea on her So Scrappy Instagram page.

I love the blue and purple color combo on this cute pet page from Brianna! She’s used printed die cut embellishments to create an entire Wintery scene around the photo with polar animals and trees, there’s some paint splatter, tags and scallops behind the photo as well. Learn more at the Doodlebug blog.

This amazing layout from Krislyn uses lots of different pattern papers in snowy tones of blues, many are cut at an angle to form a unique background. Between the photos she designed an Artic scene with Polar bears, pine trees, Northern Lights and her journaling. Find directions at the Creative Memories blog.

Don’t forget to also capture your pets staying inside and keeping warm on a cold day too. This snuggly cat digital template page has lots of plaid, houndstooth and striped patterns with faux buttons, florals, journaling and a fun title. I spotted this idea at Pickleberry Pop.

Anna’s darling design uses pastel colors of blue and pink with a mixed title of die cutting and acrylic words. There’s falling snowflakes and chipboard embellishments scattered about too. I spotted her layout on her Anna Komenda Instagram page.

This frosty design uses lovely Winter botanicals hanging in bunches tied to a strip of pattern paper, with the title over top. There’s torn paper behind the photo with small sentiments and handwritten journaling for a rustic feel. I came across this layout on the Simple Stories Instagram page.

When you’ve got lots of photos there’s nothing like a grid design. This wonderful page has a die cut grid with fun little elements in some squares like mittens, cocoa and a snowman, the rest are left for photos. The icons are backed in colors that coordinate with the sticker letter title. Take a closer look at the Love, Like, Do blog.

A dog walk in the snow is captured on this cute digi page that uses cheerful colors of pink, teal and cream for a nice change from stark white for a Winter design. There’s loads of floral clusters, snowflakes, sentiments and a little penguin on many layers of patterns and pieces. This layout uses products from GingerScraps.

I love the clean and simple design Danielle created for her Snow Cat layout. Her black title stands out over all the white and the fun snowflakes she made from punched vellum stapled over punched pattern paper add dimension. She’s balanced her photos with small clusters in the opposite corner. Take a closer look at the Felicity Jane blog.

I hope you’ve been able to enjoy some fun snowy days with your pets!
