It’s June and that means wedding season is upon us. So whether you are getting married yourself or your going to the wedding of friends or family you’ll most likely be taking lots and lots of photos and that means creating lots and lots of layouts. There are so many ways to design a wedding scrapbook layout, they don’t all have to be super elegant, go with the feel of the wedding, make it personal to the couple getting married which might be casual and simple, funky, rustic, modern and trendy, vintage or traditional. Today let’s take a look at different styles of wedding layouts to help you create the perfect designs for those lasting memories.

This pretty double page layout from Wendy uses pretty soft pinks, greens and blues with lots of scrolls and flowers. There’s room for one large photo and three small and a bit of journaling over top of the layers of pattern papers that give a vintage collage feel for a classic design. This beautiful blue page from Noreen takes it cue from the “Something old, something new…” quote on the layout focusing on monochromatic blues that also pulls out the blue in the groom’s tux. This stunning layout from Vicki has an amazing collaged background made from layers and layers of pattern papers with a vintage feel. The center border is pink paper with rolled edges and around her title and photo she clustered flowers and butterflies. I came across this on her Vicki Scraps Instagram page.
Sheena focused on greens and blues for the outdoor wedding photos on her wonderful layout. She created all the fabulous ferns by painting blue and green watercolors all over a large piece of thick cardstock and then die cut the ferns from her custom paper. Jacque created her own custom title and embellishments for her sweet wedding design. She used word and flower stamps to stamp as well as heat emboss to create sentiments and flower accents. Check out the pretty border Lydell designed for this wedding layout, she repeated photos and placed them behind torn pattern paper for a film strip feel. Over top she added her main photo matted with tickets, a lace doily and a postcard. There’s also hand written journaling and more layers of embellishments. If you’re working on vintage wedding layouts try soft sepia and cream tones with pops of metallics like this beauty from Tracey. She’s got layers of torn pattern papers, tags, ribbons and rose gold metallic leaves and title. Take a closer peek at the Paper Rose Studio blog.
This darling digital design from Callie has a half wreath of flowers draped over the photos, doily, ribbon, bird and subtle border around the edge. This looks very dimensional but everything’s flat because it’s digital. I spotted this on Callie’s gallery at O’ Scraps.
Diane’s wedding page has loads of depth and dimension with all the 3D flowers and chipboard shapes she included. There’s a large border of accents under the photo and a couple of others at the top for balance. I love all the soft muted colors she chose and scattered sentiments. If you keep your scrapbooking simple and minimum you can still include some wedding memories like Liz did in one of her weekly layouts for June.
