The kids are out of school, the weather is getting warmer so that means it’s the perfect time to hit the road and travel. Whether you visit a place close to home, take a long car trip or fly to a far off destination there will always be lots of prime spots to take wonderful vacation photos and scrapbook all about them. Be sure to keep items like maps and tickets and journal about what you did, what you saw, where you stayed and what you ate to include on your scrapbook layouts.

Anya used the Here + There collection from Simple Stories to decorated the covers of three different travel albums. The color scheme and slightly retro design helps keep everything coordinated for easy creativity. Visit the Simple Stories blog for more info.
Dies and stamping combine to create lots of frames, sentiments and titles on these vacation pages. One is a large photo with smaller photo and embellishments added over top, the other page focuses on a vertical center border with photo, journaling and more stamping. I spotted these on the Elle’s Studio Instagram page.
This gorgeous project moves off the page and into home decor with a photo frame. Surrounding the tropical photo there are lots of 3D flowers, die cut shutters, bird embellishment and lots more using products from Prima. Visit their blog for more details.
I love dedicating an entire album to one trip, use similar colors styles and products will help keep it pulled together. This spiral bound album focuses on a single trip to Gatlinburg TN and has lots of special touches like a mini spiral booklet, envelopes and pockets, perfect for tucking in ephemera. A world globe is the perfect accent for travel pages! This double page layout also has a matching border across the bottom and fun arrow accents too. This design was based on a free sketch that you can find over at the Kiwi Lane blog.
This wonderful travel page has so much depth and dimension from “rays” of colorful curled pattern papers with sentiment strips added to each one. I spotted this over on the Pinkfresh Studio Instagram.
As they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so if you’ve got an amazing photo show it off by filling almost the entire page with it!
