Outdoor winter memories have a very different feel to cosy indoor moments — fresh air, layered clothing, movement, and that unmistakable sense of adventure that comes with colder weather. From snowy walks and winter sports to bundled-up family outings and holiday trips, these experiences make wonderful scrapbook pages full of energy and atmosphere.

Winter is finally here and the Holidays are wrapping up so hopefully we’ll get some free time to head outdoors and enjoy the Wintery weather. Maybe build a snowman, go skiing or sledding, take a stroll through the snowy woods with the dog and even some not so fun tasks like shoveling the driveway but no matter what you do be sure to snap lots of photos to then come inside, warm up and create wonderful Winter scrapbook layouts! Kim used burlap for the base, behind the photo and hemp twine for a big bow to add a rustic touch to this darling layout. Nathalie added loads of dimension and texture to her snowflake layout with stamping and heat embossing. The background has subtle clear embossing with some white and gold paint splatter and the falling flakes are embossed in gold and pink then die cut. Cassie has created a sweet heart shape on the background with tiny stamps, added layers of pattern paper and tied tags behind the photo, used chipboard shapes for the title and added little paper banners in one corner. This photo isn’t outdoors but this lovely layout was too pretty not to include. Tai used so many circles punched from blue and silver winter themed papers to form a frame around the edge.
