This cute Halloween layout has bright yellow with pinks and blue and even some florals added for a sweet design created with lots of fun die cuts. Visit the Paige Taylor Evans blog for more details.
Halloween is over, and hopefully you took lots of amazing photos of trick or treat, decorating the house, carving pumpkins and dressing in costumes and now it’s time to sit down and scrap those photos. There’s been a big trend for the last few years of softer, pastel colors and using cute instead of spooky design that works perfectly if you’ve got little one’s that are “too cute to spook”, wore more sweet than creepy costumes or had lots of retro, pink and teal Halloween decor. So I’ve gathered up a bunch of cute, sweet and pastel scrapbook layout ideas to get you inspired to come over to the softer side of Halloween.

Smiling Jack O’ Lanterns and a cute girl and sweet ghost are hanging around a spider web die on this fun layout. You can find a FREE download of the spider web with title die over on the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog.
This cute design has pastel inks and splatters on the background with coordinating colored fish tail flags that create a border across the center of the page. I adore the tiny little bats fluttering around the layout! Take a closer look at the Living an Inspired Life blog.
Pets dressed in costumes can be some of the most darling photos for Halloween! This orange and black design has fun fan folds of double sided pattern papers across the center cut circle and cute little spiders hanging about. Take a closer peek at the Simple Stories blog.
The scrumptious new I Want Candy collection from Close to My Heart has lots of pastel papers, stickers, stamps and more that can create super sweet layouts for Halloween and beyond. You can check out 7+ Halloween and candy related layout ideas over on the CTMH blog.
This fa-boo-lous layout has bright colors, many patterns and lots of glittery cardstock. Notice how the paper colors are carried over to the inking on the background to help tie the design together. I spotted this layout on the Morrison_family Scrapbook.com gallery.
This cute kitty cat layout has a bit of a retro feel with bright pinks and teals and folded rosettes. This design looks like it has lots of depth and layers but it’s actually a digital design! I came across it one the Sweet Shoppe Gallery.
This sweet design uses adorable stamped images colored with Tri-blend markers in pastel shades creating a wreath around die cut spiders webs on an inked background. Take a closer look at this idea on the Chris’ Creative Life blog.
No one does cute quite like Doodlebug. There darling images always have smiles and they always combine pastel colors so well on their pattern papers. This double page spread used lots of layers of paper with fun borders and stickers and there’s also a neat pocket element too. Visit the Artsy Albums blog for a closer look.
There’s nothing quite as delightful as babies in costumes. This monochromatic orange with touches of black layout uses stripes of pattern papers, lacey die cuts and sentiment strips for an appealing Halloween page. I spotted this design on Ozelle’s gallery at Scrapbook.com.
This pretty page has a modern color scheme of gold and dark grey with some pink florals and lots of frames and labels surrounding the center photo in a geometric design. Take a closer peek at the Rosie Studio blog.
I hope you’ve been inspired to take a break from creepy and scary to create some sweet and not so spooky scrapbook layouts!
